In June 2026, I went on a long cycling trip along the North Sea coast. I completed my North Sea Coastal Path walks along the North Sea coast of the Netherlands and Belgium, including walks along the North Sea coast of Zeeland and the Belgian North Sea coast. In Dunkirk, France, I took a ferry to Dover and cycled, walked and took photographs along the English North Sea coast. Travelled as far as Harwich, from where I took the ferry back to Hoek van Holland in the Netherlands.
It was a fantastic but also very challenging journey; I cycled nearly 850 kilometres (525 Miles) in three weeks. I returned with photographic material of the Dutch, Belgian and English North Sea coasts. Over the coming year, I hope to publish this material in reports on this website and the social media platforms where I am active.
